Our Commitment
Deis Technologies provides the OmniLink omni-channel messaging, commerce, and payments platform. We understand the importance of data sovereignty and are committed to transparent data handling practices. All our services are designed with privacy-by-design principles and comply with applicable South African data protection regulations including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

OmniLink Messaging Platform
WhatsApp Business API, campaigns, inbox, and template management
Data Processing Location
The OmniLink messaging platform processes data within Microsoft Azure data centres. Message routing and delivery is handled via WhatsApp/Meta infrastructure. Primary processing occurs in South African regions where available.
Data Usage
Message content is processed solely for delivery to intended recipients. Deis Technologies does not use message content for advertising, profiling, or model training.
Data Retention
Message logs and conversation history are retained according to customer-configured policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Payments (Pay By Link & Scan to Pay)
Payment collection and reconciliation via messaging channels
Data Processing Location
Payment processing occurs through PCI-compliant payment gateway infrastructure in South Africa. Transaction data is processed within South African borders to comply with local financial regulations.
Data Usage
Payment data is processed solely for transaction completion, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting. No payment data is used for marketing or shared with unauthorized third parties.
Data Retention
Transaction records are retained in accordance with financial regulatory requirements including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).
Regional Options
Payment processing is designed for South African regulatory compliance. Cross-border configurations are available upon consultation.
Commerce
Product catalogues and order management via WhatsApp
Data Processing Location
Commerce data including product catalogues, orders, and customer interactions is processed within Microsoft Azure infrastructure with primary data centres in South Africa.
Data Usage
Commerce data is processed solely for order fulfilment and catalogue management. Customer purchase data is accessible only to the tenant account managing the transaction.
Data Retention
Order records are retained according to customer-configured policies and applicable consumer protection regulations.
Regional Options
Enterprise customers may request dedicated infrastructure in specific geographic regions.
Analytics & Reporting
Campaign performance, usage analytics, and billing
Data Processing Location
Analytics data is processed within Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Aggregated metrics and reporting are generated from platform usage data.
Data Usage
Analytics data is used solely for providing insights to platform customers. Individual-level data is not shared across tenant boundaries.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for the duration of the customer subscription plus any regulatory retention periods.
Regional Options
Analytics processing follows the same regional configuration as the primary platform deployment.
